I'm Rod Rabbers, your Rod Stewart Impersonator and fellow Rod Stewart Fan. I count myself incredibly blessed to pay tribute to the legendary man himself through my performances at various shows and events. It's truly a dream come true to deliver the unforgettable songs and entertain such wonderful audiences. The joy of putting smiles on faces or evoking tears is an honor and a lot of fun. Performing with the same emotion and professionalism as Rod himself is a challenge I gladly take on.
My journey into the world of Rod Stewart impersonation began around 23 years ago, and the love for it has only grown since then. Stepping onto the stage was a pivotal moment, and from that point, I was captivated by the sheer enjoyment of performing his iconic hits. From donning the familiar outfits to styling my hair like Rod, it's a blast to recreate the magic and take the experience to a whole new level.
I've been fortunate to contribute my talents to numerous shows, ranging from charity events to weddings and birthdays. None of this would be possible without the support of the wonderful people around me who make each performance a reality. I can't help but think of my mum, who would be immensely proud, especially when she was my front row VIP. My wife plays a pivotal role as my coach, pushing me to give my maximum effort to pull it all together.
In my repertoire, you can expect all of Rod Stewart's classic hits like "Maggie May," "Hot Legs," "Forever Young," and "Have I Told You Lately." But that's not all—I also delve into timeless standards such as "These Foolish Things," "The Way You Look Tonight," and "Beyond The Sea." Each song holds a special place in time, and performing them is not just a job but a joyful celebration.
